South County Orthopedics has provided quality orthopedic and sports medicine to southern Rhode Island since 1976. We specialize total joint replacement, operative and non-operative care of fractures, arthritis, strains, sprains, and sports related injuries.

By providing personal attention to patient's needs, the goal of our orthopedic team is to return patients back to their pre-injury level of functioning. Our medical staff utilize the latest information and techniques to treat your problem whether it be total replacement, fracture or osteoarthritis.

If you require a total or partial joint replacement, our team's extensive experience will work to help ease your pain and restore function. We also perform arthroscopic surgery for muscle, tendon, nerve and cartilage damage.

On-site Digital X-Ray services are provided at our One High Street office location. Our X-Ray staff is trained in the latest orthopedic radiology techniques, so we can accurately provide critical information about any orthopedic problem to your doctor.

Extremity MRI services are also provided at our One High Street office location. This helps us to better diagnose and treat our patients while saving them valuable time. This painless diagnostic test is performed in our office and takes about 45 minutes. Designed to examine extremities, the procedure is completely open and doesn't employ a closed-in "tube" like other MRI systems.
